Georgian luge hopeful Nodar Muaritashvili crashes on Corner 16 during the men's luge practise run at the Whistler Sliding Centre on Friday. He was taken away in an ambulance and died on his way to hospital. It was the first time a luge athlete ever flew off the track. He was travelling 144 kph at the time.
